Official BMX state comedian. 😆Chiming back in…
I got a lot of trophies from BITD and well…this first year and 1/2 back I took them at the races cause I wanted to get that old time feel again…After turning X it sorta faded but anyway the point…
On my computer desk resides 2 trophies.
The first is the first one I ever earned a second at the Millville goat path track and strangely enough the other is another one I got the same day.
My mom and pop were feeling a little bummed that I had been racing for like almost a year and still never got “in the money”, 1-3rd, while my buds were busting out left and right, lol….so they had bought a trophy for me and were going to give it to me that day to try and lift the spirits up.
On the trip home while I was all 13 and wide eyed looking at the little piece of 2nd place plastic I had in my hand, mom turns around and gives me that trophy with my name on it, and says “We were gonna give this to ya because we know how much this stuff all means to you, we’re real proud that you earned that second today”.
At 13 you feel good that the parental units saw that you were trying hard to do something, at 40 you realize the incredible love that they have for ya and how it is important to uphold the ideals they saw in you at that young age.
So the next time you ask why “Brittles” is so hot or fired up about something, you’ll know why. I understand completely and totally the meaning of “it comes from the heart”.I am now fully prepared for my verbal reaming by my peers, lol!

Who thinks it’s hard to run this website?As immature as this thread seems to be, it still shows how guys who race have a different mentality.
No one on here yet is turning into a little beotch and throwing names and what not.

Debbie, get some oh them thar Transit videos….he’ll have something to watch…Not to bust on anyone but I think imwatchin is saying we gotta start taking ourselves a little serious in order for others to take us serious.

Why wasn’t our State Secretary informed of this cancellation?I feel I have the best minds in here, so if someone comes up with an intelligent idea.

As ya know I’m pushing hard in a lot of directions and this sort of flipped me out.
I have taken to heart what one person has said about just having a couple of “us” at the next state meeting.
I am having the UBMXRC meeting this weekend at my place in Brick.
Everyone is welcome to come down. Everyone…this means anyone who can make it from the board or any of the tracks as well…you can all find out what is up with the whole “council discussions” locked topic thing.
PM or email me for directions.
If we can get our ideas together outside a formal board meeting it will make things better.
I can also explain to everyone how a meeting is supposed to go, so we don’t just have people flying out with crazy b.s. when we are trying to accomplish something.
I’m also thinking it might be a good idea to elect a few of us as “official” reps to the board.Ya gotta look at it like this:
The NJ BMX Board is supposed to be the grand high council of BMX in NJ. Which is the way I look at it.
We now have a group of people who say they are willing to help.
As we may know from the business world, no business just wants to get bombarded by everyone’s little agendas.
So the “outside” people get together, get some reps and send them off.I set a bad example this morning by flying off the handle. But I really care about this and people who have a tendency to love what they are into get emotional about things at times.
So the invite is open to all for Saturday afternoon, 4:30’ish Brick NJ.
The topic is BMX in NJ and how to HELP get it bigger then ever.
I’m hoping to see some of you here.Oh and whoever is going in for hospital duty, get well soon…
Jeesh, you could at least tell us who it was so we can wish them well, might make ’em feel better about all the work they do at the track!
