DJ’s…. yeah Doug Luden got me hooked up with those guys when I made my comeback after taking a couple years off ( I was 15 or 16). Never got a damn thing from them but it got the recognition at the Nationals for being on the same team with Bob Warnicke, who passed away shortly after joining the squad. TNT came shortly after…. I still have my Jersey from DJ’s, S & B (cages), various TNT Jerseys, and older Hyper Jerseys from the early 90’s. I love Crit plates!

beer race….. brings back a great memory at a trumbell connecticut national. brad shepley made a comeback and made the main… me zalewski, lamb and a few others sat under the tnt tent and witnessed shep throw back a six pack of bud, 20 mminutes before his main. he tried to get on the gate tipped over once, got it together…. the gate goes down, gotta few cranks in before he coasted into a hay bail! hahahahaa …. i think he actually made it around the track, but he fell about 9 times! funny shit

I feel honored that every time i raced a national and Linda Dorsey announced the race my name was forever attached to bob warnicke because of our matching DJ’s Cycle uniforms. I got to know Bob pretty well. A great man he was. Evenwhen I made a rare apppearance and raced I was doing if for TNT …..and Bob Warnicke.

    Thanks Linda!
