Cranford trails,wow what a place. I spent a lot of time there. When I was living in Cali and racing back here, I would leave LA at 8 am and be riding the trails at 5:30. That was so cool. So many locals, Lamb, Salzmans, Tommy, all kind of pros. So much talent came out of there. Over my time I rode there from 85 till like….. now. Good times. RIP Cranford trails,I will miss you.

Was there quite often during the heydays of the 80’s. I even have a pic or two of me jumping there.
Very good times. Always showed the locals respect for building those trails.Is this how it’s gonna end fellas? A bunch of old guys sitting here, remember when? blah blah blah?
Or do we get something going for the new generation to do what needs to be done? I’m tired of talking about all this. I’m tired of seeing trails plowed, of mcmansions popping up where kids should be jumping and doing what we did.

I remember meeting a local there one time…I’m pretty sure it was Lamb.
Anyway, I was there riding with a couple guys and one of the locals comes out and we start b.s.ing…he mentions that he was supposed to be moving to Cali to work for BMX Plus, so I was like cool! He asked me what I did and I was in one of my…goofass moods and tell him, “I’m a pornstar”, LOL. He gives me this look like, “WTF” and goes…ok…cool…..
Then I tell him I’m just busting chops.
Real cool dude, I’m pretty sure it was Lamb, I remember it well because the guy was super amped on BMX.Good times.

I remember being back there one day, with Chris, and these kids come over and go “these are the guys that stole our bikes coming in”, they saw Chris and I and walked through to the baseball field, they were all like 16-18 years old. Well when the one got by the back stop I body slammed him and threw him against the back stop, the kids had sent someone to get the cops already, and bammo, one bike thief CAUGHT. Funny a the time I was home for that summer, I would drive all the way down there from Sparta to ride
