The track was great, you can’t beleive everything you hear about wrecks and crashes and 20 people getting hurt and ending up in the ER. I told you guys three weeks ago when all that stuff broke out on this site about people getting hurt is BS. Those guys built that track with every skill level in mind. You can ride over everything and with no problems or if you have the BAWLS then you can jump it. Its a great track and from what i hear they decided about two months ago that they will make some changes to the remainder of the track but will wait for warmer days for that to happen. I would guess they would do some tweeking before the national but going back to the track it was in tip top shape in my opinion. Most importantly it looks like everyone loved it and had a good time!

I agree! Sanctioned or not that is the thing about EHT, its open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and its open to everyone to ride.

The Track is fine, there were some experienced riders there giving input on the layout and helping out along with a few fathers of smaller riders. All ages and skill levels were taken in to consideration with the layout, I helped a few days and there were many discussions while i was there as to the different ages and skill levels. There is nothing on the track that you will not see on other tracks. In fact the day we finished the 1st straight we had a local racer mayber around 5- 6 years old having no problem with the first straight. If things need to be tweaked then I am sure they will be tweaked over time. I stopped by the track Sunday afternoon and there were at least 3 over 30 cruiser riders out there enjoying themselves, some locals in their teens jumping the doubles and many smaller younger riders having no problems maneuvering around the track. Give the track a chance before you bash it, there hasn’t even been a single race held on it yet. Its a fun track, ride it and enjoy it!

The track is fine, all the loose stuff is there because the track has seen alot of riding activity and its winter and it rains and its windy and cold. Its nothing a broom cannot fix before race day.

As for the layout, it is what it is. Its difficult in some spots and not so difficult in others. I find it difficult and challenging, i like it!

all the stones will pop out of the turns, the track needs to be ridden a bit and it will smooth out. By the time the jack frost race comes around the turns will be smooth to ride. I think the turns look great and turn one is a monster of a turn!

It probably was locals but i have been there plenty times when out of towners were riding and one time i was there there was a group of 4-6 dudes who were street riding in atlantic city down from New York for the day and stopped at the track to ride. They dragged a big metal trash can on to the table top and were jumping over it.

    Ignorance is nationwide!

Even though the track does not have security cameras maybe it would be a good idea to post a few signs saying ” security cameras in force, vandals will be prosecuted”. Maybe that will make them think twice before they do something stupid.

I’m pre-registered and set to drive all night Thursday to get there Friday morning but i am keeping an eye on that Hurricane down in Florida. Suppose to make its way in the form of lots of rain up around the mid-atlantic over the weekend and hopefully will keep the rain to the east of Kentucky.
