I hate to be hot, and I hate to be cold. (I’m female…..end of story)

We were at the EHT track yesterday, there was a pretty decent amount of riders there. My son Gabe is a 6 year old racer, he loved the new track! He even did a front flip onto his face right before the first turn and thought it was AWESOME!

    The track has his vote.

I have to say though, there were a lot of hockey players sitting on the first turn throwing garbage on the track, and sliding down on the cardboard. How would they feel if we threw sh*t on their rink?

Do we let that just happen while we all stand there and watch?

I have a question and I don’t know if it has anything to do with this or not, I paid for my sons jersey and we did not make it to the pres. cup for personal reasons( we wish we could have gone) anyway, how do I get our jersey?
    No hurry, just wondering:?:

I know that St. Judes Childrens Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House are Amazing charities for Children.
I don’t know what the percentage of funds raised goes to the charity but I’m sure that it is a large amount.

I found something cool, my nephew came over with a new library book (Action Sports BMX Racing, by Chelsea House Publishing) On the first page it had picture of racers on the first jump and in the back you can see the HCBMX logo at the gate! I thought that was cool.

I love this idea too! I think that any kind of positive attention that BMX racers contribute to the community is awesome!

While were talking about do gooding, what about an event like a “bike-a-thon” were racers do laps for a charity organization or a specific family that needs help? They could get a single donation of 5 or 10 dollars or a “dollar a lap” something like that. It’s just an idea.I know that it brings in a decent amount of money( if there are enough people involved)

Call the local paper, radio bla bla bla. It could kick off the season on a high note and get a lot of attention to boot!
