everybody I talk to about racing says the same thing. I wanna try it but cant afford it. Even if you just wanna do the local program it gets expensive after awhile. Especially once you get to be like 16, then you have girl freinds/boyfreinds, cars, insurance, and bills. Racing just isnt that easily fit into the list.

    hey guys,
As far as I know victor will be at the regional this weekend. When they returned from michigan I was told that he was supposed to return to the hosp for surgery on his stomach. Then I found out monday that he was not going to return becuase they need to do more testing before they can do the surgery. Victor is in seriously bad shape, and we all thank you for asking questions and wishing the best. Im not sure how would feel about it but if anyone would like to find out exactly what is wrong ask this weekend. I’m not sure how he would feel with me posting it up here.

Ive done it all except starting my own track. I used to live bmx 24/7, but anymore the more im away from it the more things come to me about what can be done to make it better. Being a racer from my start in bmx I didn’t always see the little things that hurt the sport. After beeing threatened at 2 NBL Nationals in a row and getting injured in both, I decided to sit on the side lines for a while. Its pretty bad when you confront the head officials about beeing threatened and then just look at you and giggle.

im only 40 mins away also but its just so much easier to camp on a sat night instead of having to get up even earlier for a sunday race.

This is the main reason why I dont even really race anymore. I did almost no races this year. The prices keep getting higher and higher and unless if your on the inside of the nbl you suffer. Trust me if there was an alternative I would be going for it. It just seems like they dont care about the riders just their money. Thats why ive saved over $3,000 so far this season by not racing. So instead I took that money and put it into my truck, now I have somthing to show for the money I put out. Instead of cheaply made # plates.

I was told that you cant run the plates at any race besides next year’s united states championship If you got top 8. Which is b.s. they charge that much money and for what. Especially to charge a $15 late fee if you wanna register the day before the event. They must really be loving the high class rooms they stay at when they get to travel the country at no cost just to act important.

yhea first round no cutting off, second moto it seemed like they forgot everything. Oh well theres still the grands for us. It was just dissapointing victor dedicating the race to his dad and ended up making a couple wrong decisions like doing the pro section. That seemed to be his highlight of the weekend.

I like how they handed out “goody bags” every bag had a surprise in it, surprise its loaded up with expired power bars. Oh yhea thats real nice.
I just had to get that one out there.
Every video I have ever watched from a world event since we started bmx, we saw every moto the riders stay in there lane until they got to the bottom of the hill then they did there one thing. Thats becuase its THE RULE. But not this time no right out of the gates you have people everywhere. Oh well its the one big question you have to ask yourself anymore. Do i break the rules and risk getting cought or race fair and loose to the ones who break em.

But like the subject was started congrats to everyone that made it out there and tryed there best!

I was also told they did a crappy job with the rules. On the videos of practice I was looking at all you heard was anoncements about the rules but yet no one follwed them and they werent enforced. Other than that it was one of those races where kids threaten other kids and th eofficials dont do anything. What a way to put on the 1st race of its kind. Oh well just goes to show they will do what ever it takes to get the money there but once that part is over they just dont give a crap.

congrates to all who made there mains and good luck at the worlds. I was told danny was looking great in his motos and am pretty sure he made his main. Atleast I hope, hes been training hard. Victor got 3rd in his 1st moto then fell apart moto 2 and 3. he did the pro section which was obvioulsy slower and finished 6th. so no main event for him.
