i know i didnt outright insult anyone, but i just felt like i was doing nothing but complaining about the jump instead of getting out there and trying to help everyone out with it. and that isnt me, im usualy the one wanting to go to the track to get it going, because even though i havent been raceing that long, i feel like part of the family, and i want to help it grow and grow and seeing riders stop and not want to race because of something like that or that the track isnt ready shouldnt happen. so again lets pulld together and help vinny and everybody work on cjbmx and make it the great track it can and should be

I apologize to anyone who may have been offended by the posts in the thread.
Vinnie is doing a really great job as track dr. and i hope he stays on for a while. i cant wait to see what he has planned for the track and am full on ready to help, put a shovel in my hands and tell me what to do. because im here and ready to help keep the sport alive.

make the jump back to a triple, leave it as long if youd like, but at least have something that where if you jumped you still could land part of it and ride away with some speed. that would be ideal, because the good guys can jump the whole thing why do they care whats on the ground they barely touch it. make it so its possible to roll over or manual or something besides go big or go home on for once i cant stand that statement because what it realtes to in this thread is somethign that should have never been in the first place, the day the 1st and second straights were changed someone should have been there to say something about it, now its almost a year later and were still arguing it.

that jump is the deciding factor in winning a race or not
if you can jump it its almost guaranteed you can win your moto
otherwise you have everyone else either hitting their brakes coming up to it or just trying to manual or even survive over it and just dropping out of the sky over it. vinnie said he was making it more manualable ( if thats even a word lol ) but all he did was raise the lip about a foot and a half and put a little dirt on the downside. that doesnt help.

is it bad when i have a track 25 mins away from my house that should be my local track and i want to go to flemmington or EHT because of the changes that were made at cj?

Anthony for once i compleatly agree with you
i know i bust ur chops most of the time but that jump has to be changed
i am all for making it back into a triple maybe a little longer than last time. this way the not so good guys ( not phil jimmy etc ) can jump part of the jump and still keep some sort of speed itno the new turn. i say we start a pole get some sigs and bring it to the track director.

i dont know about most people, but i am all for the clips

they give you more power throughout your crank, and therefore if you canr use them right a faster lap. granted there are some pretty gnarly wrecks in clips, but you cank get hurt just the same if no worse becoming tangled in the bike even with flats on

we need as many new racers as we can handle to keep the tracks up and running, so tell your friends about bmx, bring them to a race, even if you only get one more person it is that many more people supporting the best sport in the world.
