I was also wondering how people felt about pushing the state championship back to later in the year.
I know that all of that has to do with the state championship being the only triple pointer we can have in the year, but it is REAL weak that our season basically ends in august.
Again, the question has to remain, do we follow weak nbl rules, or follow our own course to build our program?

With 8 state qualifiers now, it’s going to be a tight squeeze for things.

(By saying that, I guess I sort of reveal I am behind Glenns track coming in)

We will be closing NJ tracks during Pottstown qualifiers correct?
I still think we should break the qualifiers up to running one a weekend instead of double headers like the nbl does at regionals and nationals.

We have got to stop following all the bad things the nbl does and start making up our own minds.

if 2 tracks within 30 minutes of each other run on the same day,
then they should adjust schedules, thats only intelligent.
Much farther than that and you should have your own rider base to begin with.
This is hard to explain when you weren’t around for the 80’s.
And I don’t mean that as a dig at all.

    no, no…
actually we already do know who would.
Asst State Commissioner was worried NJBMX could get sued if we put hangers on bikes.

    2 pages overnight…
and no one cares about real issues.

I know Adam doesn’t, because he isn’t involved in the BMX racing FIASCO this state is…but I do know Adam does care about other stuff.

Whats a real joke here is that Adam started this thread as a self effacing joke..about his own death due to Taco Bell,
I’m not so sure why everyone takes him so seriously, in a closed forum.
I can pretty mush guarantee you that he is sitting at his computer laughing his ass off by how easily he pushes buttons just by using words.
    Strange.

I think what it is, is that Adam fully understands the value of words.

If the energy in this thread was put towards getting into schools to put flyers out or heading to businesses to put flyers out there could be 10 tracks in NJ (and at one time there was MORE than that) with enough riders to support them all.
In fact, jaylamoon has been pming me with some ins she has in the school district, with the 10,000 flyers we want to make up and the plans that Rich has we have a major promotional campaign that can be underway. If the members of the board stop thinking they are the be all and end all of BMX in NJ.

In 6 weeks we will know what direction the nbl and NJBMX want to go. I would say right now, judging by how the board snuck in an unqualified person to be asst state commissioner, didn’t inform everyone that the position of treasurer was up for election and didn’t even run the election needed for state commissioner since Rob Demola resigned this year…things do not look so good.
    But I always have hope.
And there are other avenues of BMX to promote.
…and there are people who will just move on and do their own thing.
Strange how some people do not want help.

just in case “this site” is brought up in january.
brokenspokes is not on the agenda.
    the state is.
this site is not part of the state, it is part of something much bigger than NJBMX it is part of
    BMX.
anything said on this site is just opinion.
there will be NO time wasted on worrying about imwatchin, adam or the current beotch that someone has about any track that is brought up on this site.

the subject of a state meeting is the budget, by-laws and installing officers and following their OWN rules.

    I wanna help,
    I wanna help!!

Not gonna happen….it’s like sales, ya gotta say it over and over..
