Update on Zach McLaughlin (123EX). Some stupid Ky kid crashed him in the 12-13 Open on the final straight, even thou both would were going to transfer to the 1/4’s anyway. Dumb Novice! Zach is now out for the year with a double break in his left wrist. He will roll the gate at the NER thou.

INteresting, that you mention Clay and Clayton. I had a Verizon guy here Saterday and when he walked in his first question was who here races BMX, he had seen sticker on my car. I said my grandson Zach McLaughlin and that he was going to Woodward next week. He then says yeah, I went there in the eary 80’s with CLAY!!. His name is Scott (sorry forgot his last name), he raced mostly ABA at Deptford and Clayton. He now lives in Lumberton and knew of the practice track and still has his bike hanging is his garage.

Believe it or not I have already recieved a quote from AvidOutdoor on a 175 x 250 air supported structure. A similar size to the Fabric bldg above.

    $525,000 with heat & air.

    BTW:

    Check out this: http://www.pinelandssports.com

They got a steal on this as it was a used bldg from Vagas Convention Ctr.

The whole setup including land, installation, heat, cooling. top grade astro turf, was slightly over $800,000

    Brett,

I got a quote last summer on a 166 x 250 flat sided free standing Flat sided Fabric Building. $597,600

I will try to get a quote from these guys.

A good central site would be around the intersection of 295, NJT Pa extension and Exit 6 NJT.

I just met with the Township Official in charge of Recreation and the track which is a part of a large new Rec area for the town, yes Tim near Mount Holly.

At least for now, it will be a practice track only and will not have a start gate. It is another case of misinformation as the Dir. is worried is about injuries and traffic etc. Her reference is the large crowd and campers etc at the Egg Harbor National and the flips and spins as seen, on BMX, on TV.

Also the reason I am not going to indicate the exact location, is that she has been getting many calls on “when racing is going to start” and right now this in getting on the her nerves. So please do not call the Lumberton Rec Director looking for more info. She said that I would be keep in the loop as to any changes in the present thinking. I did leave a copy of the NBL new track guide for her review.

The Track was laid out by an experienced BMX rider, using the UCI Track Building Guide.

At least this is a start, and with some more education and time we may have another track in NJ.

NO! What you need is a Cold “Rolling Rock” and Mix it with a Warm “Duquane”. (spelled wrong sorry)
