what are the aba rules regarding nbl riders who dont currently hold an aba license? do they still offer a one day trial/ whatever it used to be called? would this be able to be used by ams who can race class in order to race the open( same as nbl rules?) dave/aba used to have some sort of “try it out” policy…i am asking this now as i know somoene will bring it up, thanks for getting this together…

the acknowlegement alone is enough sometimes and its quite an honor if you ask me… these 3 riders have their own unique ROTM qualities… after all thats what its all about right?
if you get the okeedokee from the track and all the particulars…(willyou have to hold a current aba license?) and set the date /time all that…. maybe we can get some flyers made up and post at the tracks… shouldnt be too hard there isnt much happening in november anyway…

sounds like the break danny had last yr at the grands – when he broke his wrist in 2 spots also… but i think it was 8 weeks and he started some exercises /therapy and wrestling again… i guess it depends on which bone was fx….
he is a nice kid and improving every time we see him…healing thoughts to him!!

how bout that 73 yr old grandpa who was racing 55 and over?? i saw his picture on the news while we were out there but i forget what state he was from…if anyone knows please post..

tim you were on the tough side of the brackets as well.. there were soo many riders in 17-24x who didnt make it but that rode awesome..im not sure about how they all finished out nationally but the ones i saw racing were pushing the envelope for sure….
jimmy moore(on wrights tail all weekend), both mulherns( jim and sean)rode well, dan ended up 12th i think, kelty may have ended up 5th not even making the main which is amazing, weimer either 2nd or 3rd, dont know about geraldo but he was in dans moto, i think tim c’s moto was right before dans so didnt see him race (they had 2 on the track at a time), sean had a crash so he wasnt in great shape after that….
changes for next yr??even making it 17-18x will still be awsome competition.
glad to see they will break this class up next yr..the 19-21 set was co mplaining all weekend so they may get their wish..
i also heard they may eliminate jr men?? dont know all the details but a friend who just bought the international license for that class was told they may change it again… dont know if this means only super x class option for those wanting to step it up or not??? how this equates into uci is a mystery to me…unless you plan to travel to china i guess it dosnt matter…
does anyone know for sure when random gate will start? i heard christmas classic then on sunday some “nbl insider” said it starts with woodward race…anyone know ??
brett i have some but unfortunately i wouldnt recommend my paving guy…( dont hire friends either) all i can say is get it in WRITING… our contractors are prob too far away for you… but word to the wise….
our electrician was great but he only “went by the plans”(even if it didnt make sense) so communication is #1. confirm everything before work is started… and above all..
dont hire any relatives!!!!! bottom line is its not worth it.. haha believe me….. avoid the nightmare and get somoene with references and CALL them to check… there are plenty out there who are reputable just have to check references… bottom line if you dont want to spend $$ correcting their mistakes…my husb is in construction and said he is kicking himself for not checking some out….

wow ant tht is awesome!! at his first grands its quite an accomplishment… welcome to the novice class!!!! he will only get better and faster..
i hope his dad taped the races to show you!!! did you see it live? i wasnt sure if they showed all the motos or just mains or what on that live feed site..

i think there were 17 groups all in all almost 120 riders… i didnt even see you there there were so many to try to watch…lol
dan only made it to 1/4’s he got sick right before trying to make it to the gate on time… too close to run 4 rounds in 15 mins… big rush for sunday with all that extra time on sat they should ahve ran their 3rd rounds plus 16ths on sat and still would have had plenty of time for the pro races… no foresight at all. there were a few riders who didnt even go up for the open 1/4 they said they couldnt do it.. i have never herad of this before at the grands… someone didnt think ahead. the riders have to start opening their mouths and co mplaining about it… everyone complains but only to ea other and not to the right ppl. when i asked bob after he consulted erma he said if someone had mentioned this( 11 rounds planned on sunday) he would have let them run more of them onsat… DUHH>> the most impt race of the year and no one thinks of this??
also putting capped riders in the same moto is not right. esp with almost 120 riders i think you can separate them out fairly… kelty and pope and others were all stuck together… start seeding again like years ago…
