I guess that is the question…
I usually answer that with we are they.
They are raising our taxes….well we elect them, so aren’t “they” really us…

    Confused yet?

Actually….I think it’s the fact that now WE are the ones watching that has them checking us out. Before all this stuff who was checking in on what was going on? Posts about track meetings would get taken off the njbmx forums, it’s like, WTF is up with that?
Life, liberty and the pursuit of BMX?
    I dunno…

    Well here we go.
It’s time for the ladies who race to attend track & state meetings.
I guess the next question is do the ladies want their own forum.
If so, who would be the gal to step up to moderate it.

How do we get ahold of Erin? She seems sorta reclusive. But no doubt the BEST lady flatland rider ever.

damn, I forgot that Miranda rode for Torker back then…
    I really miss BMX Action.
If I could get the rights to that name from Bob Osborn, I swear…

I believe what is being said here is that “torker” sort of reflects the current state of BMX racing. One of the glorious old school companies who had names like Jason Jensen, Clint Miller, Dave Marietti on it and would basically “give birth” to freestyle BMX bikes through Bob Haros freestyle master has at this point in time fallen so far as to become a company that makes unicycles.
In effect “disappearing” from the market, much like the racing aspect has disappeared from the market of promoting BMX.
    Very deep, almost existential.

I believe the banquet runs from 10:00 to 1:00. So the meeting will probably be 1:30 – 2:00. The new NJBMX.org will incorporate the minutes from the meeting, so people will be filled in. Commitment.

yea it’s just a matter of allowing guys to do it. Maybe we should bring this kind of stuff up at the meeting.

CJBMX will have full attendance +.
Everyone should be there who wants to get things going on ’07.
There will definately be by-law changes introduced and voted on at this meeting.
Dale Maghan has already said no one is leaving the room until we have a SOLID game plan for 2007.
