We have a new correspondant here. Desiree Sagendorf from NY. I’ve talked to a few people about the state of girls in BMX, (yes, it would be Debbie Smith who got this going) and we all agreed that it would be cool to do more to get them a voice in the sport.
Ms. Sagendorf has stepped up, so look for all kinds of new stuff from her.
This is also another lesson learned from the Gleasons.
Let the next generation do things and you’ll be amazed at what they can do.
Well here we go.
It’s time for the ladies who race to attend track & state meetings.
I guess the next question is do the ladies want their own forum.
If so, who would be the gal to step up to moderate it.
My 5 year old daughter started racing this summer! We are very excited to see her have an interest at a sport that her brother started this past May.She has only been in one race and is a little nervous, understandably, but it is GREAT to see the girls step up and become role models for the little ones!
She is looking foward to the spring to practice on the tracks and do some racing.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE LADIES!
