Tents can be set up Friday morning. Ask Les where when you get there.
Glad the pup isn’t too serious. It can be heartbreaking watching them suffer when we don’t know what to do for them.

Looks like the big boys of BMX are gonna have a big class this weekend. Hearing from all over that the 35-39 groups are coming in from all over the map. California, all points south including Puerto Rico, all points north, and Michigan, and others.

Better be stretching those muscles, and loading up on the Wheaties. 😀

Yes, RVs will be over by the big wooden playground as usual. I think that is a township thing.

yes, you can camp. we usually put the tenters behind concession. check with Les when you get there for exact location. each year it changes a bit depending on baseball schedule, vendors, etc.

you can always just let him race Saturday, then if he does well or wants to race Sunday, they do 1/2 hour registration for Sunday after the Saturday mains.

Tidey: Getting “smoked” is definitely a good learning experience. It usually gets them pumped for the next race. Some of the top riders now were the ones that got their butts handed to them time after time when they first started. I remember a rider laying face down at the finish line bawling his eyes out cause he fell and was embarrased. Now he’s a factory sponsored racer whom almost nobody can catch. That was about 4 or 5 years ago.
A statement my son made several years ago just after he turned expert has stayed with me ever since. He said “the more I lose, the faster I get.” I thought it was one of the best comments ever made about moving up, racing, and life in general.

Didn’t everyone know, I live in registration 😆

Seriously though, I will be in registration, concession, finish line, motoboard, and a lot of other places. Most of Friday I will be in registration until the race starts.

Any help would be much appreciated. Grooming on Friday, grooming on Saturday night, picking up trash on Saturday evening, an hour or so on the grills.
We will take any offer no matter how little, or how much.
If you’re racing, maybe 10 minutes here or there to deliver drinks to the corner marshalls, stagers and starters. 15 minutes relief for a corner marshall while he/she goes to the bathroom, grabs a bite, or watches his/her kid’s moto. Like I said a little here or there is always needed along with the big jobs.

Per the NJ State Series pamphlet handed out to all riders at the start of the season:

Rain Dates for State Qualifiers or the Championship will be posted on the NJBMX Forum, NJBMX webpage on the NJBMX.org website, and Brokenspokes.net. The host track of the rained out race will also place an announcement regarding the new date on their answering machine as soon as a new date is set.

    Hope this helps.
