for tim here ya go:
Posted on Vintage from reliable source:
There have been some tweaks to the proposed age changes. So, take a seat, take a deep breath, ladies and gentlemen, the new age classes for 20″ in the NBL will be:
40 & over……..
The points will be old moto points, new main points. For example:
Expert 1st place moto points 60-60-60
1st place main 100
Total for a perfect race = 280
Capped for the grands = 1680September 10, 2007 at 1:30 pm #50080bmiddaughMember
40+ (open wheels)
Vet Pro 31-39
Masters Pro 40+
that might work out better
I believe 25-34 should actually be close in ability.
Late 30’s and…well…
40+ unless you are Rich, Bill or Greg H, cut me some slack, lol
…LOL from some tard at BMXNews.com earlier in the month..
kudos though to Kevin O’Brien for posting on BMXnews.com and asking for advice…September 10, 2007 at 4:00 pm #500824130forlifeMember

Okay, so in NJ, that’s me, Farside & Brett in 40+ expert, unless there are more that I am not aware of.
It will be interesting to see how the NBL computer combines local classes going forward.
But, as a 40yr old, this is good for me, and it means I’m racing the same folks on either bike (at least at the Nats).
Hope everyone else is happy!September 10, 2007 at 5:01 pm #50086bmiddaughMember
Bennett, Wogs, Cassidy are all 39….September 10, 2007 at 5:38 pm #50089s4lnjMember

I love it. I am turning 35 Oct 15. 30-34x is hard.September 13, 2007 at 1:50 pm #50182LeadSled1Member
Actually this was the easiest year in 30-34X I have seen. 35-39 will be much harder for 08 than 30-34 was in 07. The new 25-34X will bring that class back to being hard again.September 13, 2007 at 11:56 pm #50206CrazyCraigMember

Jess, 35-39 already IS harder than 30-34, so whats your point? 😛
Oh yeah, and with the new classes I still dont get a chance to school you when you age up, darn. j/k.
