I just wanted to thank all the guys who gave time for interviews on friday night, you really showed how much you care about this sport.
I’m gonna try and make this little vid live up to what I saw in those interviews…

update:
Bob and Carol were good enough to let me interview them this week.
Because of this I am now 5 minutes into the video.
And….I may just drop this on a dvd with a “special” Carol and Bob interview section.
Anyone who would like to send it to Bob T may feel free when I get done, lol.
Things are moving along well, wish I could say the same about my closing.

Brett, I finally had a chance to sit down and watch the vid, let me tell you……. it gave me chills!!!! I don’t know if you remember, back in the day, there was an 8mm film that was made to the song “another one bites the dust”, it was all crashes during BMX races. I thought that film was an awesome thing and this is definately up there in my book. The music track you’re using is perfect. When you’re done with this one and then the state one and all the other ones you have lined up….. put me on the list for one down here at EHT!!!!

If you want to step up and be heard on the CJ video, your last chance will be October 1st at CJ. I’m looking for a few parents, some kids, and jumping the back doubles.
Thanks for everything and this vide will be premiering Nov. 18th at the awards banquet.

Finished.
Here’s the label.
A few people will be seeing this on Oct. 29th.
Everyone else gets to wait till Nov.18th.
Thanks to everyone who helped get me footage and interviews!

I just started cutting in some extra footage for the actual DVD that will accompany the video and I just wanted to say how incredibly insightful and inspirational Carol and Bob are.
It will really come across in their little “extra” part of the DVD.
They really believed in the power of those BMX “kids”.

DVD extras:
Gleason’s full interview, about 1/2 hour. Some cool and enlightening stuff there.
Old School pics, couple slide shows about 10 mins.
4.5 min CJ open races video to a decent (well to a geezer….it’s decent) soundtrack.
I’m sitting here editing the open races video right now.
