Take off his cranks , let him push him self around for a week.
Put the cranks back on he’ll pick it right up
I also used a scooter too
My 6 yr old wasn’t all that interested in riding but when she got it with out training wheels she was having alot more fun
A bike ride to the candy store helps to !!!
They sell wooden push bikes at target, but I think they are for kids under 5
