one more thing with what CWCCRIDER posted it says all state champions get state champion jackets. ummm last i checked state champions now get “hoodies”. this state series is getting better and better every year. This is why everyone is supposed to get involved? Dont make sense with alot of the people with good ideas getting involved you would think it would be getting better then it was 5yrs ago.

obviously the plates will be cheaper. Ive seent e prices for teams that have them made they take care of them very very well. especially a state when they are going to get what 5 or more times more then the team would. so theres no doubt in my mind that thats easily beeing takin care of. The bottom line is the state series is getting more and more expenseve to race and over the years the riders are getting less and less. look at some of the local tracks that have some of the fastest newbies out there but they dont do the state series. Why? becuase either the cost is to high. maybe the races are pourly schedueled. Or possibly look down south all they have is EHT. its alittle far to drive up north for the other two. You even said it the trophies are beeing made from past years trophies. that sounds alittle stupid. almost as stupid as eht advertising 3′ trophies every year for the veterans day race but i havent seen any of them since i started racing that race. So wheres the money going that would have been used for the trophies. and no the presidents cup is not a good enough reason. every year its been takin care of w/o problems like trophies and what not.

it still doesnt change anything about how much the race fee is. all year round everyone spends alot at each and every state race. Race fees are getting high and the riders arent getting anything back. Why cant it be how it was a few years ago when the there was 2 race fees one for the championship only and the other for the chamionship and the trophy. Just like the eht veterans day race and the jack frost “classic” all they are, are over exadurated locals. theres no reason for those race fees to be so much.

even with everyone there you can still ask questions that really matter and still there wont be answers. before the meating was even canceled there should have been some sort of date already thought up by the “BOARD” members. And these are the people that make the decisions on how things will be done. figures.

see thats one of the main reasons for the open’s for every age at the grands, so that everyone that isnt qualified has a class to race.as any racer knows on that track anything can happen at any time. so how can that one race give someone that didnt even qualify in th efirst place the bragging rights that hes the best for an intire year. its not right at all the people/parents that qualify for that race spend thousands just to qualify and they get royaly screwed by the ones that spend the least.

Victor went down hard in his 1/4, has a bunch of cuts and scraps and has been complanning about back aches. Nothing he cant overcome.
good luck to everyone else that went down hard, hopefully everyone recovers fast and healthy

dave was with me when this was all going on. the whole weekend was a joke. mostly all of the classes were atcked with riders that werent even qualified to race the grands. The old rule was if your not qualified then you have to race the open but now becuase there greedy and money hungry they accept everyone. so in my case i didnt make the main and every rider but one was actually qualified for this race.

also at the grands there was a little girl getting threatened by another riders parents at the finish line and all he did was walk away. when he was confronted by the police on why he didnt do anything about it he said it wasnt his place to enforce anything that the it was the officers job. I guess its things like this that make the “nbl the best in bmx”. Oh wait there new one is ” We are BMX”. HAHAHA

the worst thing that the nbl could do was to extend the amount of move ups a rookie needs to move up to novice. It used to be 8 and you would move up quick but now 15 thats a joke. especially that they only get one for every local win. novices get 20 until they move up to expert. honestly when you turn 16 they should have a certain amount that you would get while beeing expert to move up to a lower pro grade. there is alot of super fast experts out there that wont ever even try to move up to a pro class just becuase they have it easy in there class. thats the main reason why most older novices wont go up. I honestly dont care when i move up, now if only everyone raced there hardest everytime there out on the RACE TRACK then we wouldnt have this problem. Why race if your gona just pull on the brakes and loose on purpose. It seems like thats what makes you the best of the best in the nbl. and thats by haveing the unfair advantage.

just a quick question. I hope that you guys have looked into or thought about other racing programs for the rookies/novices if you want to take away them beeing able to do nationals and regionals. Yes when they sandbag its a BIG problem. But what about the others that give it there all every single moto they do. Is everyone forgetting that they are the ones that grow up and turn into pro’s. I can tell you right now that the nbl will do nothing about this matter. Resently i brought up sandbagging to bob T. and Dave M. at the constitution classic. The reason was becuase of back at the freadom national the national #1 rider told everyone that he had to sandbag so he could stay #1, so he stopped on the track and fell over. everyone in the moto protested it by coasting accross the line and then protested him. becuase of that everyone got a move up.
with all of the rookies/novices that race the experts and pros alone wont be able to hold enough motos to keep it going.

Due to bad weather the open house practise day has been re-scheduled the Open House for Sunday, September 10th. at 11:00 AM. That weekend is also FUN FEST in the City of Hazleton. W/e there doing over there their doing it right. even though they had to cancel the practise they still signed up 50 new riders.

I dont know if aba has ever done anything like this before but i remember back like 5-6 yrs ago espn partnered with the nbl and they telavised races like south park and others that had big turnouts. Now obviously they didnt show the younger riders, but during the event they also ran an nbl commercial. Also during this time, EHT was having anywhere from 30-40 motos at local races. But espn’s reason for canceling was “BMX racing will never pull in enough veiwers to keep the show going” As everyone remembers BMX was in the x-games, espn used the same excuse when they canceled that time as well.

rich is right. every year that we have gone to the pres. cup they tell you that you have to run your 3dig nbl #. Since its a state vs. state race those numbers dont mean anything. But the race does count as a reg. towards your nat # for 07. and also for the 2 days of the christmas classic you can run you national #.
