this thread is getting out of hand now. with what started as blamming people ( doesnt matter about if theres proof or was proof or just guessing) is now leading to argueing. theres no reason for argueing when your trying to find a solution to a problem like this that is never gonna end. People can hold grudges or just not like someone i dont really care but if anyone on here who has been posting cares as much for bmx like the are saying or are trying to pretend or w.e, should just drop it. its getting to nothing but b.s, all its hurting is the kids that wanna race and the future of the sport. especially for eht, i mean does anyone seriously wanna see that track go. Ive been riding there since i was alittle kid. and i for one dotn wanna see nothing happen to it. So enough is enough its time to start thinking of ways we can fix the problems TOGETHER.

heres an idea i think the track should have someone elected for security at the track. i vote for imwatchin.
(since they seem to know everything)

why when ever somthing is said imwatchin has tro chime in and start arguements. The bottom line is we have no single proof to confront any single person. all we can do is confront them as a group and just start by asking if they have seen anything happen. Obviously they wont say because they stick up for each other. yes imwatchin they stick up for each other as a group. you know how most racers always stick up for each other and not start arguements when problems are trying to be solved. Who do you think might have been doing all of this??? This shouldnt be an arguement this should be alot of people working together to try to fix a problem that could in fact become major. Every body that goes to that track at one time has seen the local riders do somthing wrong to that track at one time or another.

at some the nationals/regionalys i went to this year bob t. and dave m. were trying to figure out what to do about the 22-29 x class and the 22-29 nov class, since the turnouts were so small the 22-29 nov class had to be combined at just about every race. so why go and make it smaller 7 out of the 12 22-29 novices that went to the grands were all 22 and 23. so this is fixing the problem by making it 25-29?
Ive never been to an aba race but someone told me that there class is 18-29 is that true?

the problem is that ok the conclusion is its most likely the locals. but who exactly out of the group it is, is the problem. no one exactly which ones it could be theres only guesses and like chris said you cant go on that. We have to catch them in the act and they wont do somthing like cut the lines or break the fence right in front of someone.

maybe this should be made clear, and im sure that other racers who are local “racers” yes local racerx you know the ones that live within like 10-15mins. The normal local riders are the only ones that are usually there late at night. the local riders are the only ones usually there for no reason besides causeing problems or getting in the way. The local riders are the only ones so far to get cought vandalizing the track. the local riders are the ones that have been threatened by less for what they do when no ones there.
Just because you come on here and say that you have told them to stop and you have cleaned up the track doesnt clear them. You are not the problem you are one of the many solutions to a never ending problem.
I have personally gona there and have fixed peices of the fence, back a couple years ago we repainted the entire fence. This could go on for days with people saying what thye have done. but that is all that it is anymore but things that have been done. all that counts now is whats going to be done. Hopefully after patmos is done the locals will be gone.

first off racerx thats when i spend the most time i have at that track is on none race days. everyones back to school leaving the track free of the locals. That gives me the time i need to work on parts of that track i need to w/o having them in the way. ask any racer that goes there strickly for racing to practise on a none race day and i bet everyone of them will have a complant about the locals. Yes there is alot of people that go through that track but take a ride through there at 11pm how about 1am and there s local sitting there on the jumps. Its a park, the park closes at dusk. there for they dont belong there.
Heres an interesting fact. earlier this year when a rumor was going around that less was going to close the track the locals claimed that racers dont belong there and that they are going to take over and run the track the way they wanted. Yes the locals, so racerx what do you have to say about racers not beeing aloud at eht bmx track.
heres some key points that prove its the locals. (all incodents have had certain locals prosecuted)
    1. Soda machine broken into soda was stolen as was the money.
2.Hyper trailer broken into at east coast national. A cr50 pit bike was stolen.
3.Eht track gets shot up with paintballs. 3 local riders stepped forward and admitted to getting mad that there was a race and they werent aloud to ride the track.
these are just three key point in the past 2 years. theres tons of witnesses that have seen them empty trash cans on the track doing stalls on the fenses. breaksing them when they do it.
this is all getting out of hand even with the police checking in here and there.it takes true racers who understand the importance of that track and how important it is to the raceing community to have a track like that in that great of condition and to be open all the time.

this is the biggest problem with the track always beening open. every year this happens. less already knows who it is but porbably has no proof. the facts are right in front of them. the local kids that go there everyday, they dont race they start fights they bring drugs around the track and when they are told to leave they make threats. something can be done but it probably wont.

Fun 😆 . we have alot of work to do tro make it “fun” again. Not everyone knows or understands what is and could possibly be going on. which could be a good thing, as long as we can start to fix things before certain things get out to the public.!

theres no doubt in the world that the pres. cup is over rated. Just like the U.S Open invitational. whats so great about that everyone in the top 15 in there region is invited. Ok so basically everyone that raced it in there class. You dont even get a trophy at all. you get a jacket if you win th emain, and a hat for everyone else that makes the main. The same hat that you can buy at the race for $15. WOW thats exciting who wants to go this year. not me

hopfully this year itl be differant. We have alot of people that are excited and ready to go for the race. But its still gonna be hard to beat FLA, after all they do race practicully all year round. Racing down there is almost like a second religion. I hate to say it but were really gonna need the help from our fast novices and cruisers to get us up in points and then the experts to keep us going and possibly through a tie breaker if there is one. Any word as to when the state ceromony will be held

CrazyCraig- with what you said i completly agree with you. On the other hand i very much understand economics and inflation after all i do own a bike shop. So bmx and bmx racing in general is in my life everyday. i live it, i race it, i work for it. The fact of the matter will never change with how much everyone is spending at these state races they should be getting more.
Look at it this way, everyones been complanning about how regionals and nationals are run and how the season is beeing handled. But now look at the nj state series, its turning into the nbl’s regional/national series. everyone is beeing forced to do this many races or they cant race. the prices are outragious for the state races and thats before you even get a trophy. You mention inflation, ok well tell me is that where all the money from the state series is going. I understand eht has always had a questioning budget but not the state series.
A few years back the state series was getting better and better, heck they even sold state series t-shirts with all the tracks on them. (just like the regional series) I would like to hear some of the important things that the money nj bmx brings in. NJbmx says “We are a group of BMX Enthusiast, Racers, Parents, and Supporters trying to keep the Sport of BMX Racing in New Jersey the home of organized BMX Racing.” Then who that races is on the board, who that races even gets to voice there opinion. you guys are forgetting how bad it was getting at times before you guys came back. All the people that tryed to make a differance year in and year out finally gave up just when you guys finally started to make a differance. Its not gonna be that easy to get all them people to come back to the meatings. Just like its not gonna be that easy to get all them riders to come back that left becuase of the high fees and the required traveling. Like the bmx legend always said raceing is getting over rated, riding street and trails is where its at, its where you can ride for free and for the fun of it.
Ok now you obviously have to charge for racing since its organized, but does racing still have the effect on kids like it used to. I mean come on you have kids getting threatened all the time now and nothings beeing done about it till it gets seriously out of hand or until it affects someone on the board directly.
