how can nj riders know about aba when there are no tracks in the state? 3 or so yrs ago we started back( post secaucus) at bensalem for a season but the rider count there back then was like the count in nj now… we brought a bunch of our team guys there they raced but when everyone ina local area runs races on the same day ( howell and bensalem. eht and flem at the time were on sat) how can you draw?

dont know what the answer is to that dilemma.

aba in the east =slim and none too expensive to run 2 national series in our book and not enough days in the week to be honest w/you.

i would just like to hear some names instead of whoevers number plate is in first… “oh and its the 301 in first blah blah” no kidding… well at least they announce the top 3 when the pros are racing…..hopefully they have someone else doing the semis and mains…

and yes we watched more than 2 hrs worth yesterday danny walked away f rom the computer as they were coasting after the last turn…if you werent in 1st or maybe 2nd by the last turn they SAT or soasted thru the finish. i saw it belive me i was shocked. at the grands??

im sure both can improve but i was not as i mpressed watching yesterday. maybe today will be more exciting. face it nothing is as exciting as being there and actually participating.

oh ok i get it now…

but i still dont like the buy 3 (motos) get 1 if ya win race.. you should have to race all 3 i just dont like it much. when we did aba back when secaucus was open it took a while to get used to it… hey people complain with the lack of racing now( when dulack was announcing at iron man) when the moto just “coasts” or dosnt try…whatever.. at a national to see it ..well i just cant get used to it. its sad to see 5 or 6 guys just quit thats not racing in my book… conserve your energy i can see that but the whole pack? seems odd…

i guess thats why they have chocolate and vanilla…

yes i pd for it dan was watching but i have to tell you the nbl has the announcing down pat compared to aba. that announcer should hang up his hat. i dont know who it is but he is horrible.. he is announcing the guy in first only and he only says the rider number plate…DUHH! no kidding… no excitement at all and he skips like every 2 motos.. i’ll take linda dorsey or roger anyday!!! he is more interested in talking to whoever is next to him in the tower than who is on the track . its a shame really… they had like 7-8 groups of 16x and he only announced the names in 2 of them.. i know they run them fast but please…

plus i dont care for the 1st place guy winning then the rest of the pack sits down and gives up i know you have to be 1st to transfer but it kinda takes the excitement out of the race.. top 4 is more of a battle. .. if you are not in top 2 it looks like the rest of them give up. why bother??.plus if you do win the first moto then you dont race till sunday? i think its better to get more track time i m not a rider but it makes more sence to me. then you have to run the opens i guess more $$….is the name of the game.

wow thats the way to go… such an impt race should be indoor. i wonder if its that much more than a reg indoor facility t o run? ( not like the nbl cant afford it we pay for it for gosh sakes)

hey bill what order do they do the motos? right now they are around moto 217 i think its the first round 30 something cruiser class. when will the pros moto go ??

dans trying to figure out when his class will go as well as the pros… do they put the pros in the beginning of the motos?

can they set them up all at the same time… it may be easier for folks to remember…i think they used to do it like the first tues of every month when it was at the k of c in jackson

some observations…. the announcer sounds blah… i guess after 7 hrs you just dont get excited…
if you are not out in front you sit down before the finish line….is that bec they only take 1 qual out of each moto?
you cant see the gate/first straight at all..(my fav part of the track)…
the track looks very technical/rhythm is nice and track is long even though there are not too many turns…..
the stands look basically empty compared to the nbl grands where you couldnt get a place to stand anywhere near the fence…
they run them fast and furious… some motos 3 onthe track at the same time?
