I know of that company, J. Fletcher Creamer. They used to have a pretty large place in Middlesex….used to see those brown trucks everywhere.

Ok, i will ask where the stuff is coming from and will let you know.

Finally, a to the point answer….thanks.

I don’t like falling on it either.

As of right now, thats what we got to work with at that track.

Since we are pretty much in agreement that this method does in fact work when done correctly, can i count on some of these people to be there march 29th to see that it is in fact done the proper way ?

Also, to the people who want to bitch about when the wind changes direction (please no 14 paragraph answers explaining what you meant) come out on march 29th to help out. Don’t not come because of the people who run it, come because it’s a track in NJ.

That is just over 2 months away, im sure most of you can clear your busy schedules with this much notice..

Ant let me ask you a question…

What exactly don’t you like about it….other then other people saying they don’t like it.

Does it some how impact your riding ? your vision ?

Im just looking for some specific reason as to why you don’t care for it.

Please don’t get on the soap box and give a 14 paragraph answer, im just looking for to the point specific answers[/u]

    Thanks Rodney.

Forgot that it was noted High Gear will have a permanent more secure spot set up with a High Gear banner displayed. I recommend them. They got me my hard to find Redline Proline old school style sprocket 😆

They are not a fan of the soil tac stuff or whatever it is called.
Im not for one way or the other but if the quarry dust is put down the right way, its alright to ride on. When it was first put down years ago it was ok.

    Just give it a chance.

Matt let it be known that is what will be done.
I don’t have an answer for you on that but can ask if you’d like.

Oh yeah, the schedule is set but i don’t remember all the dates.

I do remember there will be races when some of the Regionals are being run & there will be a few double race days early in the schedule.

The location is a “best case” scenario, but should all this come to fruition it will be somewhere in Somerset County.

I think some type of pro section would be cool.

In a perfect world, a track would be put indoors at a place like this:

    http://www.bsaarena.com/

but i digress, thats shooting too high (i think)

P.S. Ed, i wouldn’t go advertising your from Manville 😆

What can i say…id like to do something just a little more then anything else thats out there, stand out just a little bit…something that makes people look twice and want to come check the place out.
No, a huge starting hill is not “needed” but i posed the question if you could do anything you wanted.. 😆

Ant make s a good point, stick it where people can actually SEE the damn thing…like, um i don’t know…like maybe right next to a minor league baseball stadium….

Im thinking a starting hill twice the height then anything in the state now.

im thinking the 1st part of the 1st straight go a good 6 feet below ground level (gotta think about drainage) with bleachers on both sides of the track at that location to coming up out to a huge step up that can launch you into something…not sure what yet.

but also designed so that little rockets can get through it also.

The typical “they only make left turns” comment is sooo old and soooo used.

People should start to come up with jokes about how the people that know absolutely nothing about the sport let that be the first thing that flies out of their mouth.

Dave, your heading down the road towards being the old angry guy at the end of the bar that talks to himself and how everything was cool back in his day and everything sucks “now”

    be-otch 😈

If one has only a cruiser license and one would like to take his old school Brackens out to race does one need an 20″ license ?

Cause the rules state that you need an NBL license…..which one has, albeit a cruiser license.
