I am a former rider,.. (working on getting back on the track) with 3 kids,.. 2 of which I am letting explore BMX right now,.. having had to learn BMX with shallow pockets,.. I know what expenses are needed and what can wait,.. I am printing out a copy of this thread to put on my Trackside Toolbox,… to hand to other folks,. and be able to read it myself,.. as a reminder. Just like everyone else here that has done any time on a track,.. or a little league field ,…. parents are stupid,..
how many of y’all were there to ride? and how many were there to drink and camp? LOL

I went to the Tampa track,.. track operators were real nice,.. i asked for a copy of the NBL rag,.. for a former rider from a land far away,..
both my 4 year old and 13 year old want on the track,.. as well as me,..
is anybody going to list anything about who did what this weekend?

honestly,.. it’s still a sizeable scene here in FL… there are like a half dozen tracks within 1 1/2 – 2 hour drive.. all NBL,.
i’m going to a local race tonight,.. the normal wekend for them is friday night,. and a double race on sunday,.. and they run open practice 2 weeknightsit’s already been on my mind,… LOL
