The former CEO for Home Depot had a contract. He wasn’t a typical employee like you or I that can simply be fired. Home depot deserved to get hit like that because they made that deal.

But it does suck that management can do that but we can’t. We can get fired at will, basically.

Cool, we have been on them for a year or 2. It doesn’t help them when 2 track people are computer geeks. LOL

We were thinking about trying to pay the TORF via credit card to earn reward points.

Nope, I had it on 2 laptops with a cross over cable and subst a floppy drive to be the other laptop so we could take registration on 2 machines at a time.

    Easy to install, unlimited use.

The backend DB could use a little work to make it better for connecting to a website, mail merge or mail list.

We just ask the aba for a membership update file every now and then, always at the begining of the season minimum. This gives us every member with updated number and class. We get all the surrounding states so we rarely have someone come to the track that we don’t already have in the computer.

Now if they would just set it up so we don’t need to mail them a copy of the score sheets, it would be perfect. I don’t see why a simple ftp can’t be setup.

First we all complain about the security holes in windows and now we complain that they locked it down.

Just more job security for us in the IT world. More documentation, more auditing trails, and more time to build new servers.

I think it would be really interesting to have a bmx race that was multiple laps. That is what makes the supercross so cool to watch, they battle for 20 laps and at any moment they could dump the bike.

their conditioning has to be at such a high level. I can’t even make it around the bmx track once at full speed, and those guys do what like 30 – 50 laps in 1 day, not including practice, and depending on if they qualify in the heat or lcq.

And Ricky is so short! How is he supposed to see over the steering wheel now?
