This is going in the wrong direction…
maybe we should start a welcome to BMX thread which showcases the new guys and gals coming to the track.
Sorta like, EHT would like to welcome..

bob jones
etc…
make the people signing up feel like they are doing something worthwhile, because it would be cool if they kept coming back.Maybe we should ask some of the young ladies to help out, might make the guys who race more receptive to signing up instead of practicing and leaving.

Crikey, that could be taken as being condescending just as much as my statement… —Mustn’t be too hard, we used to have 15 year old girls running registration BITD at CJ.

I’ve always been like this with BMX, tons of time doing stuff, little reward.
I mean, I dunno, it’s just me.
This attitude as many of you know has gotten me in disfavor in some places.Production Supervisor for a traffic control company in Manasquan, real cool people.
I don’t have kids or a hummer…or a mansion so there is some free cash floating about.

there were 3 classes, everyone showed up and had FUN.
BMX racing needs to go back there.
I wish I could figure out a way to actually make some of these ideas happen.
Besides just telling kids to come to a track, actually doing something different.
