It’s ok to voice an opinion, but if you really want to help, ya sorta need to be there to offer input as well.
Be specific, it’s all good, sometimes it helps people see things they otherwise would not.

The only time offering advice doesn’t work is when you say “this sucks”….cause that gets nothing accomplished.

I would say the combined experience of people who worked on EHT’s redesign had over 70 years of BMX track experience, I have yet to see anyone advertise as a professional BMX track builder yet.

I say we do it. Set it up, run it, do the whole thing ourselves, keep track of the points for ourselves. All we need to do is have you guys walk up to registration, tell them you want to run a pro-am class and do it.
We keep track of our own stuff. These are older guys, they can handle it.
We don’t need someone to do this for us, we just need the sanction to handle the insurance.
Think of it as a first step in taking over, and also showing everyone that racers can handle setting up and running things, ourselves.

Napper has a 4th of july race, start it there, run it through the fall races.
Do it, set it up and run it.

ya see, if njbmx had someone doing a site for them that was updated and current and cool what you would do now is get all 4 track directors together at one of the state races and have them all hold the flyer with the thumbs up as a gesture of cooperation and good will.
