Ed,
What is the top tube measurement from the center of the seattube to the center of the headtube? Thanks again.

the 80’s were crazy.. but AWESOME!!!!
February 15, 2007 at 10:39 pm #39874mroze1MemberThat strange looking frame is “The Wedge” by “Mr. Stix” from the early 80’s. I think I only raced it one season in 17 & over expert.
Top tube length measured along the top tube is 19.5 inch as measured between center of head tube to center of seat tube.
The “effective” top tube measured along a horizontal line as measured between center of head tube to center of seat post is approx 20.5 inch.
The chainstay length measured between the center of bottom bracket to center of the rear dropout is 15.5 inch.
I’ll have to build it up and bring it to the track sometime…if I could ever pull up on a bar again! (remember tennis elbow 😕 )

See picture of old decals for the Wedge. I don’t remeber what the frame decal looked like, do you? Maybe it was one of the ones in the pics? Any thoughts?

March 22, 2007 at 12:21 am #42307mroze1MemberHey Paul,
Sweet! I remember the one with the hands and eyes on the head tube. The others must have been the fork stickers.
Check out this link:

It’s a full Wedge and shows the downtube sticker.

Wow, whose bike is that? Now I remember that frame decal. I think it had a little stick man on it as well. Cool.

March 23, 2007 at 9:18 pm #42440mroze1MemberI found that pic on another forum. The link is below. There is one more picture which shows the frame decal up close. I have to break my habit of removing frame decals from my future frames.
