It amazes me how much legislators stress over “adult” shops.
In my town, (Brick) we have an adult store across the highway from a grade school.
The township went nuts trying to close it.
They lost, the whole First Amendment thing and what not.
And it’s my belief they should lose.BUT…
not 200′ feet from that adult store is a place called “The Brick Armory” where you can buy guns, knives, swords, whatever you like to kill people.
And that stuff, unlike the adult stuff, is in plain view.So can someone please explain to me for the last time why this weird country is ok with violence but not with sex.
I got one for ya, Why are there liquor stores in every corner in the “urban neighborhoods” and 2 or 3 in more suburban areas. There is an adult shop in north plainfield. I use to work down the road and the people were complaining. There is no outwardly graphic advertising on the building. But I bet the same people that were and are complaining about it are the biggest damn freaks on the planet. btw that store rocks and is still there.

Brett – I gotta throw in my conservative view here.
Guns, when sold through the proper channels, do not promote immorality. Yes, occasionally someone, who seemed harmless otherwise, goes on a rampage and, well, you know, and that is very sad. But, overall, most, if not all, your typical bad guys out there buy guns and stuff through less than reputable sources, not your local gun store. Even if you close the gun store, the bad guys will still be buying guns.
On the other hand many people out there view an adult store as promoting immorality and attracting the sickos we see on TV abducting little kids, etc. Yes, that may seem like an extreme comment, but that is how they are viewed by some. And to put one across from a school??? I would protest that too.
I hope I am not the only one on this site that feels this way, although I am sure Rodney is gonna be asking for directions to the store. lol

So do you remember when the alot of the preist’s were getting busted for touching young boy’s? I think that was immoral (craig this is not directed at you ) But how many of them got jail time. We live in a f-ed up world nothing is perfect. So if a CATHOLIC PREIST can get away with “touching Kids” wtf does an adult store have to do with society. and for those that do not know I went to ctholic school for nine years, but I geuss I was not cute enough, or they heard the rumor about young black men. you know that one about the bigger the feet,hehehehehehe bTW iS THERE NOT ONE OF US HERE WHO HAS NOT LOOKED AT A PORN MOVIE?
If you say no, i find it hard to believe.
AMERICAA couple of things here folks
Guns as far as I know have not killed anyone, but rather the person pulling the trigger that actually kills someone, trust me on this on folks.Now as far as sickos that go to those place, they ARE not all kidnapping children, most aren’t, the majority aren’t.
Now as to the location, while I don’t believe it should be where it is, and this comes from a parents point of view, as your little one askes questions about things you didn’t plan on telling them about till they were many years older, the first amendmant will win.
But how did we get the first amendmant, through freedom that our founding fathers won through the use of guns, which in the hands of a trained person, with morals gave you and still protects that right.
The point Brett, if you want to talk about the first one, how about the rest of them, like the one, that says you have the right to bear arms. You can not just choose which one you want and which you wish to discard. And by you not liking the location of the gun shop, you are no better than those that seek to quiet the porn shop.
I will concur with the sickos on the site LOL. I just think all need to see the wisdom of all of the constitution, and that the protections offered by it are offered to all.

They should open a Gun/Sex/Liquor store all in one so the customer can save time……
It’s funny all the stuff that brett has done and still gets booted from that site. Oh yeah i did not like porn on their either. But yet I am an admin over their 😯 😮 😕
