Always look both ways before you cross the track.

Always blame the other official for the bad call 😉

    – Don’t park your RV too close to the track

    – Don’t stand too close to the 35 and over Novice motos and mains, especially if me or Klimecki is in it.

    – Please run out and stop Farside and hold onto him for 30 seconds while the rest of us catch up

    – Be careful, that might not be mud you stepped in.

    – Be nice to Brett, you never know what he might take a picture of.

I’m sitting here glancing at this thread in between working and saying to myself, “will these comedians give me something I can use..”
And then it freaking dawns on me.
    You already have.

Every volunteer needs to realize you shouldn’t take BMX so seriously that you suck the fun out of it for the riders and kids.

I bow before the knowledge of my peers.

    1) Let it be known that you are interested in helping.

    2) Buddy up with someone who has done what you want to do.

    3) HAVE FUN!

    4) Root for all the kids, not just your own.

    5) Don’t do it for what you can get, do it for what you can give.
