    Man…
I was there for that one all the way…
We carried over what was done at the races, and didn’t think about it…
I do remember asking myself…why am I wearing this thing in 100 degree heat and 85% humidity when I was doing shows.
The change to shorts and pads couldn’t have quick enough I have to say that!
The only thing I can say is that when you are in front of a crowd and are getting paid to do a show, some semblance of a uniform is expected, usually nothing more than a t-shirt or maybe a jersey, but something so the crowd knows who you are…
    Ok, let the flames begin!

If you are good enough people already know who you are you dont have to spell it out for them. Actions speak louder than words.

I never had the neon thanks to SE Racing. The Haro jersey was a bright white and blue borderline neon. But the late 80’s all about flambouancy.
If it never happened, we’d have it goin on now. What a nightmare that would be. I gotta bust all that crap out of my closet before the moths finish them off.
