To all… Karsten Tribus, 8 Novice, was taken from HCBMX in an ambulance to Hunterdon Medical Center yesterday morning during pre-race practic after crashing hard over the double on the 3rd straight. Word today is that Karsten is now at Mercer Medical Center in intensive care. He ruptured his spleen in the crash and is now in a drug induced coma and will be in the hospital for at least a week.

I will update you with any word I get, but for now Karsten and his family really need all our prayers.

quick update…Karsten is out of intensive care as of about 9:30 Sunday night. (BTW, it is Morristown Memorial, not Mercer)

Also, he tore his spleen and had internal bleeding.

“He is back at home now and well on the way to recovery, about 6-8 weeks of no harsh activity and he will be 100%.”
