As of last night (3:am TO BE EXACT) I progressed into the new age. I put the frames side by side and realized the difference between old an new. The porter is low profile stiff as hell. I kept some “old school flavor on it” but just from sitting on it i feel the difference. Have yet to ride it (will do that today) But i have to admit Farside, TIm, Rodney, Brett and all you guys were right. Now i am not shying away from old school. The redline and robinson are gonna get rebuilt. But i think the porter will be my main race ride.
And Jess I am not clipping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There’s no comparison between our old stuff and the new tech. It’s great though that we were around to witness all that history.
