January 1, 2008 at 8:03 pm #54615bmiddaughMemberFull factory rider=
100% paid entry fees
travel to all major races and lodging
free bike, uniform, apparel, parts
contingency money for getting coverage (magazines, major internet sites, etc.)Older riders should also be getting a monthly stipend to offset the expense of traveling, training, i.e.: food, gym membership, etc.
This should also apply to co-sponsors.
If you paid for any part of your deal you are at best a co-factory rider, at worst it’s a buy in deal.
Reality.

if you are FULL factory.. you pay for nothing
and they PAY you..
or.. they pay for all your exspenses and they give you free product

January 1, 2008 at 11:02 pm #54629BIGANT-DOGMemberI was curious. For a state that has 3 tracks we have a good crop of factory racers, be it full or co factory.

January 2, 2008 at 1:04 am #54649bmxer901MemberI know there is only a few riders on felt that actually get a factory deal. Yes they do give frames and parts but I heard they have to really get on em in order to get there race fees paid up.
Victors new deal goes like this.
Full gear, full cruiser and 20″. Advertising pic in a upcomming nbl bt, Nationals paid for, and if and or when he turns 16 he would get paid for these such main finishes. 1st $200,2nd $175, 3rd $150, 4th-6th $100, and 7th or 8th $50.
Currently he is not going to get traveling and hotel stay covered, but they told me that if he starts doing aba than thye might be able to work out traveling and what not for the aba nationals.January 2, 2008 at 1:08 am #54651BIGANT-DOGMemberway cool. -!
