You gotta watch this promotional video.
It starts out real cool, but about 2 – 3 minutes in they just start showing crash after crash.
With all kinds of lines about get involved in an “extreme sport” advertising op.
Um, why would I get involved in something where it seems people wreck constantly?
Is there something I am missing here about marketing BMX?

    It’s exciting!
    Cars go over 150 MPH!

    LMFAO! Look at this page:

    http://www.confmanager.com/main.cfm?cid=656&nid=5315

Now look at the section entitled “Gear”.

Athletes compete in a full set of protective equipment that includes: a face helmet, long pants & long sleeved jersey or shirt, shoes, gloves.

Now look at the picture supplied by the UCI in the top right corner of the page.

Robbie Miranda in a short sleeve shirt. 😆

    How about this:

Racers compete in the following classes: Novice – new riders; Intermediate – moderately skilled riders; Expert – highly skilled riders; Junior – 17 & 18 year old highly skilled riders; Elite – 19 & over highly skilled riders (the highest level).

    ABA classifications mixed with UCI.

    Couldn’t find the video.
