<NJ 4 ….the scrub district.
Got #1 cruiser there for the 83 season tho, lolDude, NJ3 was like the BIGGEST BITD. Crazy deep field.
Remember when your plate in NJ actually meant something…
Sorry guys but when you are #1 rookie out of 3 people it doesn’t mean the same as #28 overall rider out of almost a thousand.
We’re on this.
March 21, 2007 at 7:09 pm #42287bmiddaughMemberOh…and apparently a lot of people wanted to race aba BITD.
March 22, 2007 at 12:53 am #42309BrianPMemberoh yeah…… this is gonna be fun. bill…. will practice be allowed at night? like we used to do at secaucus?

March 22, 2007 at 1:00 am #42310bmiddaughMemberBrian, you’re giving people heart attacks in NJ… jeesh! 😆
March 22, 2007 at 1:06 am #42313bigtimberMemberI finished #70 in 1983 and that was pretty respectable with well over 1000 guys!
March 22, 2007 at 1:26 am #42317bmiddaughMemberThose who forget the past are doomed to repeat it….
Bu what about those who remember it?March 22, 2007 at 1:28 am #42318bigtimberMemberWE WILL PROSPER! Your number one Brett!
March 22, 2007 at 1:48 am #42320RaidenHaydenMemberI’m getting more pumped, thanks guys
March 22, 2007 at 4:26 pm #42336CrazyCraigMemberMy first ABA # in NJ-2 was 433 or something like that. Then I got 56. After that it was 12 – and I was pretty stoked – NJ-2 had the whole Gnecco family in there! When I came back again in 88 & 89 I eventually got #1, but that is when they split the year up into three seasons. That #12 for 1984 was no joke (I moved up to a crazy 17X+ Class that year)
March 22, 2007 at 5:05 pm #42342bmiddaughMemberThe question is do you still have that gold medal for #12?
I still got mine beotch! lol…
In 82 I got #11 in my district…totally bummed me out, missed a kicka** monster trophy by like 10 points.March 22, 2007 at 5:58 pm #42349RaidenHaydenMemberStill got mine
March 22, 2007 at 6:09 pm #42352RaidenHaydenMemberYeah, more phone calls, more good stuff!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
March 22, 2007 at 6:13 pm #42353bmiddaughMemberEveryone realizes that the aba runs state championship races as well right?
here let’s get everyone on the same page:
http://www.ababmx.com/pdf/2007_aba_rulebook.pdf
It’s the aba rulebook, you need a adobe to read it.
We here at brokenspokes.net welcome another place for the great BMXers of NJ to ride and have fun at.
March 22, 2007 at 6:22 pm #42354RaidenHaydenMemberThat is the best part, there is no committee’s on where or when, it’s the track that get’s the most riders tha gets the champ race. THEY do the scheduling, no argueing over what date. More organized
March 22, 2007 at 6:29 pm #42356bmiddaughMemberIt’s cool, so I guess by the end of summer we will have, after many years, an aba NJ district 1.
