Well, do you? How about if we make it one.
Run a race in an open format. Two riders per team (must have the same jersey) and they race in the same moto. You take their two scores for that moto and combine them for the results (a 1st and a 3rd is 4 points). 4 teams on a 8 man gate or 3 teams on a 6 man. The teams with the lowest points through the motos transfer on. The results for the main are again added together for the final points. Lowest score wins. Ties are broken by the team with the best rider finish for the second place rider. I.E. a 3 and 4 beats a 2 and a 5. Semis work the same way, the two teams with the lowest score move on.
Lets really put “Team” into BMX. Start at the state level and see if it grows from there.
Two teams of 4 on an 8 man gate would get real interesting. 😈 Another possibility
that sounds like it would be fun, but i could see alot of fights resulting in that…
It might slow the race down as the team of 2 riders attempt to block the other riders. It would be interesting to see, I say we start with some older 15-18 year old guys who are down.
i think it’s a good idea. there would deffinatly be a lot of dirty riding though. it would be fun
