Rez tried to enlist me, but understood I had two tired kids on my hands. Where did the “pros” go, they could not have been too tired since they didn’t race, lol. 😀

I would have to guess at least two? There’s no way Rez could have done all that fence work by himself! BTW-track looks good. Keep up the hard work REZZY!

Rez, Vinny, Brett and several others, but no older riders.

Dave – maybe we can convince Habitat for Humanity to build a house for you at the track, lol.

Sounds like a good place to start a track.

I beg to differ about “NO” older riders out there working after racing all day. There was ONE rider out there building that fence that worked that morning before coming to the track, raced and has a family to boot.

I’d like to see some of these older guys who show up to practice and then don’t race, stay after the races and help out to get things done at the track. That’s the whole point of everything that is trying to be done in BMX racing. I know they always want to help when the track is getting rebuilt with the jumps and all but having them do more than that would be good for the sport.
I’ve heard some people say that the 17-25 guys don’t wanna do stuff, they just wanna race and not have to deal with the inner workings but if anyone is gonna respect ya, you can’t just say, I want this and then not do some work.
We need that age group to set the example on and off the track.
I’m not really bagging on em, but I think we need some ideas on how to make them realize they are really needed to work on the track.
Does anyone have a sort of clue what I am talking about?

The answer to my question is yes, a couple riders were there and it’d be cool if there was a lot more.

oh and I would like to add something.
    Jeff and Lisa rule.
    They are also the schizznitt.
And always have a cool ‘tude and a smile for the BMXers.
    BMX needs people like them.
I’m sure Craig forgot or didn’t see him there.

lisa and jeff do indeed rule.. and it would only be fitting to have little jeff on the team that rules.. what team would that be you ask yourself.. team PBR….

i agree the older riders should step it up and get some work done… did they make an announcement that all this was going to happen on sunday? i didnt know what was happening till i saw vinny driving the cart w/materials in it( i may have missed it my hearing is going..lol)

just a side note there were a few riders who were working flemingtons track the day before from the 15-16- 17-24x class from 9 amd till after 5 ( dirt delivery) on their own so maybe they didnt stay due to sheer exhaustion…

cj is lucky to have such dedicated parents who show up …getting stuff done for the regional… kudos to them…!!!
