OK, here is where I break rank with my fellow racers. In the old days, we all raced open, why? Because the turnouts were good, and it kept our legs warm. Todays turnouts aren’t as good, but it is still an OPEN, but with the benenfit of cash as opposed to a trophy, which as stated is like a number and you can’t buy anything with. I don’t think changing the rule would help the overall rider count
