Good call Craig! If you are going to drink make it the good stuff. Guiness and Bass are excellent together for a killer Black and Tan. You should try Murphy’s Irish Stoudt and Bass for an even better Black and Tan. I am getting thirsty!!

No mention that regional races don’t count. I don’t think they count as a local either. Glad they cleared that all up!

    Adam,

Try taking off the pedals and lowering the seat so that he can touch the ground with both feet flat on the ground. Let him push himself around using his feet to keep balance. Once he seems comfortable try a small grassy hill for him to coast down still with no pedals. Let him get the hang of the balancing thing. Once he has the balancing thing down, throw the pedals back on etc. Good Luck.

Another thing that really helped my daughter was a Razor scooter. She rode that around and figured out that she could balance on two wheels and then the bike was no problem. She was riding w/o training wheels around 4.5 years old.

Here are a few things that I noticed when reading through the new site:

    Under Equipment:

Bicycle: Should say 20, 24, 26 inch wheel size. The people who are reading what equipment to bring probably do not know what 20″ or Cruiser 24″ 26 means.

What is a motocross handlebar? More explanation for the newbie.

Pads must are reccommended. Needs to be corrected.

No front brakes? Is that an NBL thing? Alot of walmart bikes come with a front brake.

Explain the difference between open face with mouthguard and full face helmets?

What are hammers? Assume you mean combination knee/shin pads?

Under How a race is Run:

Newbies do not know what an NBL card is or what a pink sheet is? Need more explanation etc.

Under the info tab, Maybe “What is BMX should be the first bullet? Equipment needed 2nd, how a race is run 3rd, rules for racing 4th then accommodations and directions etc? Just a thought.

The site is 100% better that the last one. Keep up the good work. Just trying to help not piss anybody off.

I agree with you Caveman 100%. Could not have said it better myself. I won’t be spending any of my money on any nationals.

Nice comment from Bob. Even if the RV comment was joke, I really don’t think that statement was appropriate. There is truth in jest.

    Ed,

Wow, whose bike is that? Now I remember that frame decal. I think it had a little stick man on it as well. Cool.

    Ed,

See picture of old decals for the Wedge. I don’t remeber what the frame decal looked like, do you? Maybe it was one of the ones in the pics? Any thoughts?
