The NBL should do away with regionals. IF anything the ABA got it right with the Gold Cup series a much better idea. Regionals take away from local scenes. If anything they should come up with a way to race locals and get points toward your national ranking. Just my opionion please dont try to educate or correct me I know all the rebuttals before there posted.

Chandler black mountain and glendale (was nbl in 97) were some of the best tracks I have ever ridden in my life and I meet the guy who did the backflip in the movie rad at the skatepark next to the glendale track. In that enviorment they work. Dave is right out here they dont or are very hard to upkeep.. Cedar for a while was all dirt and they did a good job keeping them up. Form what I remember it took the aba a long time to start going asphalt in the east. WHen I lived in PA york had dirt turns that were awesome but being on a hill every rainstorm they got real rutty which made it hard to jump the triples. WHen they asphalted them that track intensity level stepped up bigt time. Lebenon did the same thing. Gotta go with what works best

Dave I remember going there and you were hunting me down for gas money in the garage on the way out yelling mike nunn were are you!!. I had to hide from you because i barely had enough to get home myself. I stayed off site at a super 8 and saved a ton!!!!!! Another year I went with Danny Johnson and Ganguzi(stink a ho) Ganguzi was driving and missed the exit ans we ened up in cleaveland and thought it was funny. We should have beat the crap out of him. Then chris moore forgets to check out of his room and we have to stay an extra night. ANother year Pete Bonilla’s friend drove the van with no wipers in a snow storm while I followed with Kev B in my geo storm with tires so worn the steel belts were sparking. I cant remember the race finishes anymore but i had some crazy crives out there with Dale never fall for the I will pay for gas you drive line of his!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! chris z, pete B, Pete R and every body else. My two favorites are from Chris Z — everybodys comfortable but me — B@@@@@ra your butt stinks

airport…please ignore any comments that seem to be biased or racially charged. i cant for the life of me think of where that came from.

a track in no jersey is obviously needed….

on a lighter note i met a family at a local car show tonight whos little one( about 5 yrs old) was riding around on a 16″ bmx bike with a hand written ababmx numberplate on it…whoa…small world, they just moved to the area from utah and the boy has just started racing about a month ago. i gave them all the njbmx info so if you meet this new fam from utah please make them feel welcome here in “JOISEY”!!!

even though this a dead thread has anyone thought of outsourcing promotion to an advertisement firm? for what is spent on fliers and posters the right agency can hit a target market never exposed for probably the same amount of money.
