Bennet won in AA-pro also which moved him up in the points for the title chase while Danny C. took 8th after popping a clip. I dunno what happened the rest of the weekend I couldn’t be around to catch it but with the way Bennet was running he could have won the ABA title too.

I understand what the township has done but everything I’ve been talking about has been over the years. Sorry for knowing that a township considers a site a park and recreation and does absolutely nothing for it, and call it for profit. How does a supposed “business” in that form make money when the support organization doesn’t do anything to support or attract business from local people? It was all up to whoever wanted to do it. I know a lot of people who would have raced there more simply if more could have been done for the track. Kevin did a great job maintaining it, granted most of the time it was only him filling in the ruts with a shovel, quad, and a rake. We couldn’t get dirt from the township, couldn’t get machinery to borrow for one damn day, and couldn’t touch the supposed “funding” from the parks and recreation commity to do little different things we could have done. I understand the use for the land, that’s not my issue, but things may have been a lot different with those things to fall back on. Nobody can doubt that. Nothing will change what they are doing now but, if different things may have been contributed like they should have been, maybe we’d be talking about where the new track was opening up instead of how we gotta drive 45mins to practice now, lol.

Just sayin it for names sake. When people get stuck on their prospectives and get carried away with it, they don’t care about anything else either. Anything can happen it only takes on person that could mess things up. Can’t change it, can’t regret anything I’ve done there, but I can say if they really cared period from the beginning instaed of crediting themselves with something they barely did a damn thing for, they could have gave us some funding just for taking care of the place. If they were a true recreational facilty, that place should have looked as good as Howell. But if Bensalem treats all their recreation the same way, forget it I’m never going anywhere in that township except maybe a few bars and resurants.

We need a new nickname for me Mr. Whipple died lol

This is just an add on to this topic. This is the exact reason why I don’t have a hometrack for next season, except it’s the townships politics over the people who say that they want to make it fun but only listen to themselves and hate n’ block out those with better idea’s that their own.

Actually I was told by our good friend Dave F. from the track in the beginning of this year, that he would mind doing a on day membership or using the 30 temps instead of making people buy an aba license if they dont wish to. I his own words”What is the most the ABA will do, send me a nasty e-mail? The track is only gonna be open for a month after that.”

Eh i think it should be left the same. Yes I hate having sligshotters next to me in the gate sometimes, although I am guilty of doing it myself. Basically there’s no really good way the perfect the timing with the motion of it so snappers have an advantage with consistancy. I’ll just say it like this snappers will snap the same on a random gate, and sligshotter will still find a way to slig it. There’s always a way. Phil slings but he doesn’t leave until the first beep if you watch close enough. I snap on first beep and have the same gate, only difference is he has more momentum from a few more inches, training hard can fix that no matter who you are.

I think its should be done during the alumni weekend during the double points race. We can have the pro-am that sunday and even funner in a way, split the bensalem vets vs. newbie’s teamn style. might add more interest if its a good turnout and then we can do it again the last race. might be somewhat silly for the team thing but no joke on the pro-am thing. What do you think??
