jayla is correct…i thnk you hit the nail right on the head….
the only reason we did the clip transformation when my son was 7( i told him he needed to wait till he turned nov 1st) was because everyone else in his class rode them and it was more pressure from the dads in the group( “oh wait and see how fast you will be i promise..” and low and behold he finally beat the kid whos dad told him to get the clips..lol) of kids he hung around with. i was like.. no way no clips….marcus told him no way…( back then he would only listen to marcus…lol not us) then next weekend he had them on at a regional at mullica and the rest is history…
it really dosnt make sence to have non bmx companies (like you said mostly roadies shoes) make them but what can you do if there is no choice? kids push thier parents to “conform” when they are young and you want to give your kid any advantage you can..only when they get older they make the switch back to flats and discover ..hey its really me thats fast ..not my friggin shoes… lol
as far as the video games go i agree 100%%%%%
lets go brett you could do some serious ground -breaking here..think of the millions you could make in this dept??? fortunately i think alot of bmx riders would rather ride than play-race…i dont know many of the kids who raced when they were younger were too busy out on their bikes to be sitting in the house with a controller in thier hands…

do you know if they are planning on selling any limited edition 2006 iron man tshirts or sweatshirts?
i found an old one that was my husbands back when… oh well i guess dan has confiscated that one already!

is iron man pre registration only?
if so maybe someone can post on other sites as well. i have gotten a few emails from out of staters who are coming from ct/ny that asked me that i wasnt sure i know in the past it was only pre registration so they could see how much product / prizes they needed plus you got a number plate with the number that you registered( like if you were the 3rd person to pre register you got to ride #3) not sure if they are doing that at all …
i see on the pre registration sheet it says preregistration only but i didnt see it posted on the cjbmx site.

we got our son a set last christmas classic from one of the vendors. best purchase we ever made. on the rainy days when you cant do your sprints its great..small enough to fold and slide under the bed and easily pops out to work out infront of the tv… it does take getting used to but only like a day or 2 ..he even brings it to the nats for sunday early am warm up( no practice) to get the legs moving…
def recommend it. we have the alum ones very light wt and folds in half for storage… pretty cheap about $160+ tax i think… andy prob carries them or can order them for ya
whats wrong with the 16 over open?? i dont know about shutting them out you dont have a big class as it is with them why shut them out?
i understand you want the recognition but thats what a pro/am is so then would you have a 16 over am open? not many kids in that group left since alot went superclass this yr.i could see ifyou had 15 or more supers but just my opinion… then if all of you dont show up and you dont have a class then what? i say race all together but if you want to point the pros differently in thier own series why not?
any thoughts on that?
