Was I really the only one in 14X without a one on my plate? How is that even possible to have three guys from NJ all with #1 plates? -Gulich

    werent there 3 districts then?

    #46739

NJ may have even had 4, but I wasnt living there in those days. When I moved west NJ had just like 4 ABA tracks and 1 or 3 districts I think.
I was in Penn-1 not a NJ district so I cant recall.

There were 4 districts in NJ in 82 to about 85 or 86.
If a district had over I believe 500 riders they split it.

I only showed up for some big races in 1986, so if the 17x motos were there, you probably would not see my name.

Cool pics nonetheless – who was the dude laying out the full Leary?

Gulich, there also could have been riders from NY as tons of Long Islanders hit Braddock. I last raced Braddock in 1981, so I missed the National or Tour race there. My friend made the Pro main I think.

There was a huge group that would ride over from NYC also. I was NY-2 and Braddock was my home track. Long Island was NY-1 I think….
